“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams – Eleanor Roosevelt”
I believe, whatever may be their challenge, the focus is always on their capability & capacity rather than their challenges. I have fond memories of the years gone by. I planted the seeds of this institution with the help of parents, trustees, friends and
well-wishers, and have seen it grown beyond my vision.
It is a safe, secure and nurturing environment giving each child in our fold, the opportunity to grow and blossom. Added to this is our set of co-operative and understanding Parents who support and appreciate all we do, making our task that much easier and pleasurable. Each day, each year has made me grow and learn, giving me a vision and strength
to give my best.

PRESIDENT – Human Development Centre Trust
DIRECTOR – Little Angels School
His philosophy …..
“ For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, but lose his soul ? “
- Mr. Jehangir R. Afshari, the Director of Little Angels School, made a remarkable decision when he left his high-profile job to dedicate his efforts to children with special needs. Surprising his friends, he embarked on a journey of learning by enrolling in a Special Educators’ course, aspiring to understand how to effectively operate a school, particularly in support of children with special needs.
- On September 4, 2000, he realized his dream by establishing the Human Development Centre (Vocational) in Santa Cruz, Mumbai, catering to adults aged 21 and above. His vision became a reality in June 2002 when he founded Little Angels School, which is operated and managed by the Human Development Centre Trust. The school is situated within the premises of the Diwan Bahadur G.S. Rao Memorial School Building on a rental basis at Pali Pathar, Dr. Ambedkar Road, Bandra West, Mumbai 400050.
- The journey began with just one classroom, 12 students, and four teachers. Today, the school has experienced significant growth, now serving 147 students with a dedicated staff of 51 and providing nine classrooms.
- In 2005, he expanded his vision by establishing Little Angels Kingdom in Lonavala, a ‘home away from home.’ It functions as a training center where children can spend days or weeks, depending on their individual functional levels.”
